Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health
The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health is a bi-monthly academic refereed journal produced by the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA), and disseminates public health research and ideas throughout Australia and internationally. The PHAA provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and information on public health. The association is also involved in advocacy for public health policy, development, research and training.

Australian Indigenous HealthBulletin
The Australian Indigenous HealthBulletin is the electronic journal of the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet. The purpose of the Australian Indigenous HealthBulletin is to facilitate access to information of relevance to Australian Indigenous health. The HealthBulletin attempts to keep people informed of current events of relevance, as well as information about recent research.

Medical Journal of Australia (MJA)
The MJA is Australia's leading peer-reviewed journal of medical practice and clinical research. The MJA is published by the Australasian Medical Publishing Company for the Australian Medical Association. The print edition appears on the first and third Monday of each month, except that the December issues are combined into one large special issue. The full text of every issue since January 2002 is available on the web (only a selection of articles from 1996 to 2001 is available).

Northern Territory Disease Control Bulletin
The Centre for Disease Control (CDC), Darwin produces the NT Disease Control Bulletin (formerly the NT Communicable Diseases Bulletin) on a quarterly basis. The CDC provides a range of services to monitor, control, prevent, and in some instances, eliminate communicable and non communicable diseases throughout the Northern Territory. The Bulletin forms part of this service, as it provides professional and community education about critical parts of successful program outcomes. Additionally CDC maintains the capacity to respond quickly and expertly to disease outbreaks throughout the NT.

Nutrition & Dietetics
Nutrition & Dietetics is the journal of the Dietician's Association of Australia and is Australia and New Zealand's leading peer-reviewed journal in its field
. Covering all aspects of food, nutrition and dietetics, the Journal provides a forum for the reporting, discussion and development of scientifically credible knowledge related to human nutrition and dietetics. Nutrition & Dietetics publishes original research, methodology analyses, commentaries and viewpoints, research reviews, book reviews and much more. The Journal aims to keep health professionals abreast of current knowledge on human nutrition and diet, and accepts contributions from around the world.

The Chronicle
The Chronicle is a monthly publication produced by the Northern Territory Chronic Diseases Network. It is published by the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), which provides a range of services to monitor, control, prevent and in some instances eliminate communicable and non-communicable diseases throughout the Northern Territory. NT-wide programs, policies and strategies are developed via multisectoral consultation and implemented by district CDCs in collaboration with all levels of health care providers. Both professional and community education are critical parts of successful program outcomes.

Pediatric Diabetes
Pediatric Diabetes is a quarterly journal devoted to disseminating knowledge relating to the epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, management, complications and prevention of diabetes in childhood and adolescence. Papers are considered on the rigor of scientific approach, novelty, and importance for understanding mechanisms involved in the epidemiology and etiology of this disease, especially its molecular, biochemical and physiological aspects. Work relating to the clinical presentation, course, management and outcome of diabetes including its physical and emotional sequelae is considered. In vitro studies using animal or human tissues, whole animal and clinical studies in humans are also considered.

Australian Institute of Health and Welfare - Indigenous Diabetes
This sub-site of the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare is specifically devoted to diabetes in the Indigenous population. It provides links to online diabetes reports and articles published for Indigenous Australians, as well as general information relating to Indigenous aspects of access to health services, other health risk factors, mothers and babies, mental health, hospitalisation, mortality, and expenditure.

Chronic Diseases Network
The Northern Territory Chronic Diseases Network was established to address the impact of chronic disease in the NT. It includes government and non-government members across the NT and Australia. The Network was formed to link stakeholders and promote communication, collaboration, coordination and collective memory in the area of common chronic diseases affecting the NT population, across the continuum of care. It is also responsible for publishing The Chronicle, a monthly public health publication.

The DDT is a part of the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The division does not support the direct provision of services, but facilitates the efficient, fair, and effective availability of these services to all Americans affected by diabetes.

National Diabetes Information Clearinghouse (NDIC)
The NDIC is an information dissemination service of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). The NIDDK is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), one of eight health agencies of the Public Health Service, which is under the US Department of Health and Human Services. NDIC was established to increase knowledge and understanding about diabetes among patients, health care professionals, and the general public.
