Yiriman Project
The Yiriman project of Fitzroy Crossing takes young people considered 'at risk' back to their traditional homelands with the aim of helping them to re-connect with their culture. The project was a recent finalist in the National Drug and Alcohol Awards in the category for Excellence in services for young people. To read more about this project view the website.

National Drug Research Institute's programs and projects
On behalf of the National Drug Research Institute, Dennis Gray has conducted numerous research projects on alcohol and other drug use; including patterns of use, liquor licensing, the supply and promotion of alcohol to Aboriginal people, and the evaluation of Aboriginal intervention programs.
