Partnerships: the
Western Australian experience.
The presentation will provide information on the processes, development and experiences of Western Australian Aboriginal people working in organisations and their negotiations with mainstream services in providing appropriate services to the Aboriginal community.
The discussion will provide the opportunity to identify the shared problems and issues with other states, and discuss common learnings which may be of value to other Indigenous groups working toward the same objective in negotiated partnerships for improved health and social outcomes.
