Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Worker - Workplace Assessor Resource Development

The Community Services (CS) and Health Industry Skills Council (ISC) developed culturally appropriate assessor competencies materials for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers/Health Practitioners for the TAA04 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment assessor units of competency. Resources were developed to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers to undergo training as workplace assessors within the same unit.

On Friday 18 December 2015 the CS&ISC ceased operations.

CS&ISC Community Health Services and Health Training Packages were endorsed by the Australian Industry Skills Committee in 2015.

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Worker/Health Practitioner Qualifications - Support Materials

In partnership with the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO), The Community Services & Health Industry Skills Council (CS&H ISC), has developed the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Worker (HLT07 Health Training Package) support materials. This includes learner guides, facilitator guide evaluation and assessment tools for the following qualifications:

To access and use materials Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are required to enter into a sublicensing agreement including participation in a two-year evaluation of the resource implementation.
