Indigenous drink driving licensing kit available for Western Australians

The Office of Road Safety in Western Australia (WA), on behalf of the Road Safety Council, has created an educational resource to make the process of getting a driver's licence easier, and to spread the word about drink driving.

The Your licence is your life: Indigenous drink driving and licensing program resource kit is designed for people working with Indigenous communities in regional areas, and was developed in consultation with stakeholders and Indigenous people across the WA state.

The kit contains a range of interactive resources specifically developed for Indigenous Western Australians, including:

• a board game
• discussion cards
• a streetscape mat with model cars
• a CD
• two DVDs
• a poster
• several booklets.
