Registrations open for national Indigenous basketball championships

Registrations are now open for the 7th Annual Generation One National Indigenous Basketball Championships in Hobart.

The Championships are the only national Indigenous basketball event of their kind in Australia, and showcase over 50 teams, from grassroots to professional levels. 

They are held in a different state each year, allowing every community the chance to host the event, and are presented by the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Basketball Association (NATSIBA).

This year's event details are:

• Date: Monday 12th to Friday 16th November 2012
• Time: 9am - 5:30pm everday
• Location: Kingborough Stadium, Kingston, Hobart (20 minutes south of Hobart)
