HealthInfoNet now offers easy access to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Performance Framework

The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet now has a website section devoted to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health performance framework.

It provides individual links to each of the report sections analysing the 71 health performance measures in the Health performance framework (HPF). These include measures of:

The HPF has become one of the key means of monitoring progress in 'closing the gap' between Indigenous and other Australians. It was developed in 2005 under the auspices of the Australian Health Ministers' Advisory Council. The Council agreed to provide reports against the HPF biennially commencing in 2006.

The third report against the HPF was released in August 2011. It is this edition of the report that you can now easily access via the HealthInfoNet using the link below.
