Call for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applications to attend the 2017 annual Chronic Disease Network Conference

The Northern Territory (NT) Chronic Disease Network are calling for applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander NT workers to attend the 13th Annual Australian Disease Management Association (ADMA) Conference and 21st Chronic Disease Network (CDN) NT Conference.

This joint conference will take place on Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 September 2017 in Darwin in the NT.

Sponsorships will be allocated based on applicants meeting the selection criteria and also on the strength of their application. Each application will be considered individually.

Full sponsorship will include full conference registration costs, standard accommodation costs and will, if funds permit, cover standard travel costs.

Special consideration will be given to community members working in a health promotion role or in supportive roles assisting chronic disease prevention and management (including the social determinants of health.)
