Indigenous runners from the NT to take on New York Marathon

Two Indigenous runners from the Northern Territory have been selected to compete in the New York Marathon later this year. Arian Pearson from Arnhem Land and Reggie Smith from Alice Springs are part of an 11 person squad chosen to take part in the iconic US event. The group is being mentored by former marathon champion Robert de Castella.
Smith, 19, says the race is going to be a mental and physical challenge and he wants to make his family proud.
