New HealthInfoNet cafés page

As part of an active communications strategy the research staff at the HealthInfoNet regularly attend relevant health conferences nationally (Indigenous specific or mainstream health with Indigenous streams) to promote the free web resource. With support from the committees and conference organisers we run a HealthInfoNet café service for delegates at these events. These HealthInfoNet cafés give us with the opportunity to sit down with delegates and take them through the website to ensure they are familiar with all the information and resources available on the site. Increased awareness amongst the delegates of our free resource has the potential to increase the effectiveness of the work they do.

The HealthInfoNet has created a new page to give an impression of the HealthInfoNet cafés at past conferences. Of each conference where HealthInfoNet staff ran a HealthInfoNet café, a short write up of the conference is provided, together with some photos of delegates who attended the café, and links to the conference website.

On the HealthInfoNet pages where upcoming and past conferences are listed, we have now also included an icon to identify future and past events where we will run a HealthInfoNet café. If you are attending any of the upcoming events, please do come and see our staff at the HealthInfoNet café, they will be more than happy to show you how the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet can be most useful for your work or studies.
