Weed it out project funding extended until 2012

Date posted: 26 July 2011

Funding for the Weed it out project in Queensland has been extended until 2012. The project, aimed at reducing the harms associated with cannabis use in Indigenous communities across the Cape York and Torres Straits regions, was initiated in 2007 and funded only until 2011. Due to the success of the project, the Department of Health and Ageing has extended funding for another year.
