Kunawarritji declared grog-free

Kunawarritji, an Aboriginal community in Western Australia's East Pilbara has become the 15th in the state to be declared alcohol-free. At the request of the community, Racing and Gaming Minister Terry Waldron has declared Kunawarritji a restricted area under section 175 of the Liquor Control Act. The restrictions make it an offence to sell, supply or bring alcohol into the community.
