A consortium led by the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA) at Flinders University are currently developing a National Pharmaceutical Drug Misuse Strategy (NPDMS) in response to the emerging problem of pharmaceutical misuse. A discussion paper has been developed to inform the strategy development process. It was informed by a literature review and by discussions with key experts in the area from a variety of backgrounds. NCETA would like to invite interested parties to submit their views on the issue of pharmaceutical drug misuse. This call for submissions forms part of the extensive consultation process being undertaken to provide opportunity for all interested parties to have input into the development of the Strategy. Further details can be found on NCETA's website and through the contact below.
