Indigenous 15 year olds 2 years behind non-Indigenous students in education

The 2009 OECD Program for International Student Assessment National Report was released on 7th of December 2010. This program has reported that the gap in literacy and numeracy between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian students equates to more than 2 school years. The data provided by the program will now be examined to gain a better understanding of how to bridge this gap in educational achievement.
