Australian Indigenous scholarships

Date posted: 5 May 2014

The Heart Foundation are offering scholarships to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to study for a research degree (PhD or Masters) that is relevant to cardiovascular health. The scholarship is worth $40,000 pro rata per annum for up to 2 years.

The Heart Foundation believes that strengthening the research capacity and workforce in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cardiovascular research will, in turn, have a broader impact on the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Applications close on Friday 20 June 2014.
