Have your say on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health curriculum framework

Date posted: 21 January 2014

Health Workforce Australia (HWA) in conjunction with Curtin University are leading the development of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health curriculum framework for the integration into entry level health profession training.

The aim is to better prepare health professionals to deliver culturally safe care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.

Consultation meetings will start in early 2014 and will involve education providers, the health professions and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Public consultation workshops are being held around Australia.
