Indigenous residents of Goondiwindi will benefit from new chronic disease care coordinator

Date posted: 21 January 2014

Indigenous residents suffering from chronic disease in the town of Goondiwindi in Queensland will be able to better manage their condition after the establishment of a regular fortnightly outreach clinic at the Goondiwindi hospital.

The clinic will be attended by Jennie Waters, a chronic disease care coordinator, who will work with local General Practitioners to improve the coordination of care for patients with complex health needs.
