DNA scientist looks at Indigenous diabetes

A Danish ancient genetics expert says that Indigenous Australian people should be open to scientific researchers looking for better diabetes treatments.

Dr Eske Willerslev of Copenhagen University says that there's likely to be more to the elevated risk of Indigenous Australians developing type 2 diabetes than just diet, and that there may be a significant genetic component.
