Just released: Overview of the health of Indigenous people in Western Australia 2013

Date posted: 20 November 2013

The Overview of the health of Indigenous people in Western Australia 2013 is now freely available online from the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet website. It was officially launched at the WA Health Conference this week in Perth, Western Australia (WA).

This Overview provides comprehensive, WA-specific information about:

It is an excellent resource and provides a detailed overview of the major health conditions affecting Indigenous Australians in WA.

For the first time, we will also provide a power point presentation containing all of the key facts, tables and figures from the WA Overview which can easily be incorporated into presentations, lectures, and seminars. The power point presentation is available on the website.

The continued focus of the HealthInfoNet is to help to 'close the gap' by providing the evidence base to inform practice and policy. The WA Overview is a key component of our work in adding to the knowledge and evidence base that will inform and assist those working, studying or interested in Indigenous Australian health.
