Date posted: 30 October 2013

A new report from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare shows that 39% of people who suffer from diabetes have a disability, as compared to 17% of those without diabetes.

The report titled Diabetes and disability: impairments, activity limitations, participation restrictions and comorbidities is the first to quantify on a national scale the connections between diabetes and disabilities.
