Date posted: 30 October 2013

Primary healthcare policy and planning experts from the Menzies School of Health Research (Menzies) have welcomed the release of the report into the landscape of chronic disease in Indigenous Australians.

The report titled Sentinel sites evaluation: A place-based evaluation of the Indigenous chronic disease package 2010-2012 provides a holistic evaluation of the federal government's $805 billion Indigenous chronic disease package (ICDP).

The evaluation highlights the achievements of the ICDP and will inform ongoing refinements of the design and implementation of the program.
