Healing Foundation micro grant funding now open to commemorate and celebrate 2014 anniversary of the National Apology

The Healing Foundation has announced that their Apology micro grant funding round is open to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and communities to commemorate and celebrate the 2014 anniversary of the National Apology.

This year's theme: Heal our past, build our future - together, recognises the importance of Australia's shared history and the need to grow an understanding of the past together. It also recognises the importance of the nation's healing as a joint effort across communities. The purpose of the funding is to:

The funding, up to $700, supports local events and activities in each state and territory. Partnerships with non-Indigenous organisations, driven by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, are supported.

Applications close on Friday 1 November 2013.
