Review of Indigenous training and employment

The Federal Government has commissioned a review of Indigenous training and employment, as a part of it's commitment to boosting jobs for Indigenous Australians.

The government is to focus on not only skills training, but practical life education, to ensure that Indigenous people have the skills to fill the jobs that exist, and are able to develop lasting careers.

The review will work closely with the Indigenous Advisory Council, and findings are due to be reported to the Prime Minister by 7 April 2014.
