Indigenous secondary school student juggles HSC, sport and TV commitments

Tanisha Stanton, a seventeen year old secondary school student from Newcastle, New South Wales (NSW), is juggling her HSC commitments, netball and a new job hosting a show on the National Indigenous Television (NITV) network.

Tanisha is currently filming episodes for the Indigenous sport and current affairs program Barefoot Sunday in the lead up to her first HSC exam in October. She is also a member of the NSW Blues netball team, and made this years' Australian Under 19 netball side.
