Date posted: 27 September 2013

Rural Medicine Australia 2013 (RMA2013) has extended the closing date on their sponsorships for Indigenous students to attend this year's conference.

RMA2013 has been successful in securing funding from the Department of Health and Ageing's Health System Capacity Development Fund, to cover the attendance of 15 junior doctors or medical students. These sponsorships are valued at $2000 and will cover delegate registration, social functions and the remainder can be allocated to travel and accommodation expenses.

Indigenous medical students and junior doctors who are interested in a career in rural medicine are encouraged to apply.

The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet will have two representatives at the RMA2013.
