National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Association (NATSIHWA) national conference cancelled

The proposed National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Association (NATSIHWA) national conference scheduled for 2013 will now take place in 2014.

The NATSIHWA board wishes to inform the public that they are doing everything possible to obtain funding for members to attend. Because of the Federal elections schedule for 7th September 2013 all of the Ministers and Government departments are in caretaker mode therefore funding negotiations would not be available until the elections have been finalised.

NATSIHWA are also investigating possible partnerships that may assist in obtaining funding to ensure that the conference is well attended and successful.
